Agatha Christie - Murder by the Book Wednesday April 8th 7:00pm in the Community Room at the Orange Public Library & History Center.Agatha Christie, famed Twentieth Century British murder mystery writer, will appear -- in the person of an actress -- to share true stories about her life and to introduce some of her most popular fictional creations including sleuths Miss Jane Marple and Hercule Poirot. A cast of four professional actors from the Chance Theater make quick costume changes to portray over a dozen characters in this original readers theater presentation. The forty-five minute show pays homage to Christie works like A Body in the Library, BBC radio plays, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Ten Little Indians (or, And Then There Were None), Witness for the Prosecution, and The Mousetrap, the longest-running play in history.
