Scott, New York Times March 21 — The Biggest Little Farm (with guest speaker Megan Penn, Orange Home Grown) Remind yourself of the magnificence and resilience of the natural world with this chronicle of the eight-year quest of John and Molly Chester as they traded city living for 200 acres of barren farmland and a dream to harvest in harmony with nature. “It's truly food for the soul.” Janice Page, Boston Globe Admission is FREE Popcorn and water will be available for purchase. Getting Ready to Grow — Free Seeds at OPL
Seeds are available to all interested gardeners during regular library hours. The library is simple to use; sign up for a membership, choose your seeds, take them home and plant! At the end of your growing season, if you harvest seeds, bring some back to the library to share for next year's planting season. The Orange Seed Lending Library now has two locations — one is on the 2nd floor of the Orange Public Library & History Center, and the second is located in the El Modena Branch Library. |
